Mr. Crappie Slab-Slanger Cut Resistant Gloves Greatly Improve the Stream-to-Table Process

Mr. Crappie Slab-Slanger Cut Resistant Gloves Greatly Improve the Stream-to-Table Process

My father was a big fisher, mostly catfish. I remember every time we would get near a body of water, he would pull one out and clean it to eat. It was an unpleasant process, because he never took the time to avoid the spines on the dorsal and pectoral fin. And the whole experience was sullied by his swollen, bleeding hands. Mr. Crappie Slab-Slanger Gloves (in addition to being very fun to say) are made for fishermen like my own father, or any angler who would prefer to avoid the mess and potential injury while fish cleaning.

Brella Brings Next Level Weather Protection with High Performance Rain Gear

It is hard to find a raincoat that keeps you dry and presentable! When Brella promises to offer a high-performance rain gear experience like no other, it is more than a flashy gimmick. This weather protection gear is unlike any other, and we tested them out for ourselves.

Rain happens, it can literally put a damper on any outdoor experience—whether that be hiking, camping, hunting, or fishing. Rare Regal Fritillary Butterfly Tour at Fort Indiantown Gap Gets the iSportsman Touch

Rare Regal Fritillary Butterfly Tour at Fort Indiantown Gap Gets the iSportsman Touch

Fort Indiantown Gap (FTIG), PA is gearing up for their yearly butterfly tours, and this year the process was made easier with iSportsman. The tours are generally hosted in the first week of July and often draw more than the tour limit of 340 persons over two weekends. To ease the confusion and labor burden of running the tours manually, iSportsman worked with the FTIG team to make sure their vision to go “digital” was put into action. By creating tour-specific permits, iSportsman proved to be an ideal solution for crowd control and tour management. All available permits on the FTIG iSportsman system sold out in a little over two weeks, proving that demand was still high.

Which bluegills are better to keep?

Which bluegills are better to keep?

Every spring and summer questions are raised by serious bluegill fishermen. How many should a single person keep? Is it better to keep the males or females? The answer depends on who you ask.

Most anglers and fishery biologists are in agreement that there’s nothing wrong or unethical about plucking a stringer full of gills off spawning beds during springtime. They are easy to spot, can congregate in large numbers and easy to catch.
