iSportsman ARX will be attending the Tennessee Valley Hunting & Fishing Expo (TVHFE) July 8-10 in Huntsville, Alabama. Though iSportsman has a long history of attending and sponsoring events such as the National Military Fish & Wildlife Association conference, this is iSportsman ARX’s first solo effort to promote the new service on the trade show circuit. TVHFE provides iSportsman ARX the ability to showcase the first-of-its-kind hunt club and landowner management solution launched at the beginning of this year.
Fort Indiantown Gap (FTIG), PA is gearing up for their yearly butterfly tours, and this year the process was made easier with iSportsman. The tours are generally hosted in the first week of July and often draw more than the tour limit of 340 persons over two weekends. To ease the confusion and labor burden of running the tours manually, iSportsman worked with the FTIG team to make sure their vision to go “digital” was put into action. By creating tour-specific permits, iSportsman proved to be an ideal solution for crowd control and tour management. All available permits on the FTIG iSportsman system sold out in a little over two weeks, proving that demand was still high.
While there are a lot of apps available to help hunters identify land boundaries, view land features and collect data, now there is one made expressly to help hunt clubs, landowners and even outfitters better manage their land. iSportsman ARX is the first complete digital solution that allows club members, day hunters and clients to quickly and easily check in and out of hunting stands or areas and record their observations and harvests.
Eric Wivczar recently joined the Applied Sciences & Information Systems’ (ASciS) team to support the iSportsman service and other company projects as a system support specialist. Eric will be helping to improve network performance and security, monitoring Azure resources and creating logical and physical network maps. As his understanding of company operations expands, the scope of his responsibilities is anticipated to increase as well.
