Now iSportsman aims to bring that same great service to those enjoying all the outdoors has to offer, both on and off base. iSportsman wants to be the go-to outdoor recreational service platform for veterans, service members and their families no matter where they are. iSportsmanX, an upcoming release from iSportsman, was heavily inspired by the nomadic lifestyle and situation of service members.

I love harvesting and eating Chanterelle mushrooms!
In fact, Chanterelles would be part of my last supper if I knew the exact date ahead of time!
These eight anglers smashed state, world and personal best records this spring—with the the photo evidence to boot. Check out these impressively large catches they reeled in!
Earlier this spring, listening to sleet blow against the windows, I absentmindedly doom-scrolled Instagram. But my hit of melancholy was unexpectedly delayed.
I paused on a post showing a wild turkey, a tom in full strut, with a quote by writer Tom Kelly running across the top of the image.
As the words sank in, the familiar, distorted lens of social media cleared:

It’s common knowledge it takes nine months from conception to birth for a human baby. It’s actually, 280 days - give or take a day - but normally, that figure is spot on. Humans have no “breeding season” as do many animals so the number of births on any particular day or time of year is constant. For cottontail rabbits it’s only 29 days and with a breeding season here in the upper Midwest from March through September, figure baby bunnies could be encountered anytime from now well into October.
When iSportsman sat down with professional python huntress Amy Siewe last year, it was apparent Florida’s python problem was detrimental to the ecology of Florida’s landscapes. The Burmese python is an invasive species to Florida, and has since decimated 99.3% of Florida’s raccoons, 98.9% of the opossums and 87.5% of the local bobcat population. The issue has led to those like Siewe working year-round on tackling the issue, capturing and euthanizing pythons in the Florida everglades and surrounding areas.
