Swarovski Optik Introduce the New El Range with Tracking Assistant
The North American subsidiary of the Austrian based company, Swarovski Optik, recently announced the new El Range with Tracking Assistant binocular—now available in popular orange armoring. The cutting-edge redesign allows you to transfer your own ballistic data and make an accurate assessment of every hunting situation, narrowing down the area where your last shot hit the target. The El Range also comes with SWAROVISION technology, which offers edge to edge sharpness combined with outstanding detail resolution. The enhanced field of vision now offers 359 FT compared with the original El Range of 330 FT.
Configuring ballistics must be done via the El Range with Tracking Assistant Configurator App. This can be accessed via the built-in Bluetooth interface and can be fed three different ballistic curves with Tracking Assistant. With the app, the range can be measured between 10.9 yards (10 meters) and 2200 yards (2000 meters.) Once the ballistic data is entered into the app, you can choose to have the El Range with Tracking Assistant send back data letting the user know elevation corrections in the rifle scope in MOA, MRAD or clicks. Angle, temperature and air pressure are automatically measured by the El Range in calculating corrections.
