Z-Man’s new Kicker CrabZ is the first-ever true-to-life imitation of a crab’s active, side-swimming profile. The mental image most have of a crab is when it is on land or the ocean floor, with forward-facing eyes and claws which attract predators such as redfish and tarpon into assuming the crab is a slow moving, easy meal. However, when threatened a crab will launch into an unexpected sideways flush of bubbles, folding its appendages back and trailing its shell in an oddball orientation. It's assumed this swim method gives the crab its best chance at escape, and survival. The imitation of this unique crab feature is what makes Kicker CrabZ a first-of-its-kind soft plastic bait.

With castable body contour, the Z-Man 3.5-inch Kicker CrabZ features segmented legs, large beady eyes and a protruding antenna. The tail end is made up of an accentuated, paddletail-like kicker claw to add the illusion of thumping and waggling at all retrieve speeds. When moving, the Kicker CrabZ copycats the trailing pincer of a real crab fluttering in the water, and when you pause it the buoyant ElaZtech composition prompts the claw to elevate and strike a pose copying real-life crab movement even further.
