isportsman for dod, federal and other government lands, now isportsman gx

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA—iSportsman, which is currently widely used by a number of federal and state agencies including the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Fish & Game Service and others, will now be known as iSportsman GX. The name change comes in an effort to differentiate the traditional iSportsman service which meets government level cybersecurity controls for unlimited users from a new product line, iSportsman ARX, which is a subscription-based system, ideal for smaller organizations such as hunt clubs, outfitters, smaller private landowners and others.

iSportsman GX will continue to provide the key features customers love such as real-time area status notifications, interactive area status maps, PAY.GOV integration, area occupancy controls, simple harvest reporting and customizable administrator roles to provide for complete situational awareness for large-scale recreational land management.

iSportsman GX will continue to support the financial strength of reimbursable programs with direct payments from end-users through PAY.GOV, the federal payment gateway that allows federal departments to receive monies directly into their accounts. This process improves the efficiency of maintaining accurate accounting records and allows funds to be put into proper use more quickly. iSportsman GX will also continue to streamline harvest reporting for better wildlife management and program data collection in compliance with the federally mandated Sikes Act.
