Arkansas Adds Hunting Education to the Curriculum

Arkansas has made big steps towards building the future of hunting through the youth. Children in grades five through 12 can now enroll in hunting safety courses as stated through the recently passed Senate Bill 161, allowing schools to incorporate it as a part of the physical education curriculum. The Outdoor Adventure program of Arkansas has been prepared for this, offering 290 pre-existing lessons for students to take part in, including hunter and boater education, survival skills, and even cooking. The course, intended to promote safety in the field, could massively improve both interest and participation in the sport.
